I am so glad you found me at my new web site. I hope you will be blessed by something I write. Writing is like therapy for me. Some days are hard days and some are good days. I write about both kinds and at the same time show you how God is working in my life.

Speaking of bad days… August 18th would have been our 58th wedding anniversary, if Wayne were still with me. So, a pity party or two and God has seen me through. We had almost 48 years together and they were good years.

We both enjoy flowers, and the Polish people are generous in giving them. (For new readers, my husband worked with a Polish mission for 20 years.) This picture was a special memory because the bouquet was so huge! I don’t remember the year it was taken but it was before my hair became mostly gray.

Wayne traveled to Poland every year during the time he worked for Polish Christian Ministries, and I shared seven of those trips with him. I continue to stay in touch from time to time with my Polish friends.

My daughter, Becky, and I just returned from a short friend trip. We visited two areas where we used to live and met with several friends we’ve known for many years. It was a wonderful renewal for me and a time for more happy memories. A couple of those friends are now in their 80s or 90s so it was important to visit them.

God has blessed me with many friends over the years and I’m grateful. I am also very grateful for my family. My daughters honored me with a special 80th birthday celebration in July. I felt very loved with all the friends who attended or sent birthday greetings!

So, as I start this eighth decade of my life, I continue to trust God through it all. He is faithful in meeting my every need and as Romans 8:38 says, nothing can separate me from His love. Thank you, God!
