“For in him we live and move and have our being”
(Acts 17:28a).
When I think about Thanksgiving, I think of the many things for which I am thankful. My family, my memories of loved ones now gone home, my home, food, beautiful scenes of mountains and nature. . . The list goes on and on. But most importantly God has provided for eternal life. We are made to live forever and without God’s provision of salvation we would have no hope of eternal life, only eternal death.
Thanksgiving must be an everyday occurrence, especially for the Christian. Our thanksgiving becomes a daily routine of thanks-living. We exist only through the will of God. He is Lord of lords! May we make Him Lord of our lives everyday!
Happy Thanksgiving and thanks-living!

This picture was taken some time in the late 1900s or early 2000s. Four of the family members in the picture are now gone. My parents, far left, my husband, center in front of window, and a nephew, far right.
