I am a woman, loved by God, and determined to live by life to glorify my Savior, Jesus. I served in ministry with my husband for many years before his death in 2015. Now, I live on the farm where I grew up and enjoy being close to nature, wild and domestic. I enjoy gardening growing both vegetables and flowers. A herd of cows roam the fields around my house. Deer and other wild creatures make appearances often. I thank God for his Creation and especially for his strength and presence with me. Without God, I would be lost. Praise His for His goodness and love!

Christmas Blessings

“The angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, ‘I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.’” Genesis 22:15-18

Abraham obeyed God even to the point of offering his son as a sacrifice. God honored that obedience by blessing the whole world with the sacrificial offering of His only begotten Son, Jesus. God provided a substitute offering for Abraham’s son, Isaac, but there was no substitute for God’s only Son. He willingly gave His sinless life to redeem our sinful souls. What Love! What a Gift! What a Blessing!

May you honor Jesus, the sacrifice for sin, who blesses us with salvation through our obedience to Him.
